miekecI must have missed the announcement that today was National Gridlock Day or something. Between home and work (note: 4.3 miles) there were at least 4 intersections completely stalled and blocked by stupid idiot drivers. Running red lights, driving into the intersection when there is obviously absolutely nowhere to go from there. Honking. Cursing. And blocking the next intersection over themselves.
Unbelievable.
I was quite glad to be on the little scooter (typhoon), so I could slip right by most of them. Laughing all the way (hahaha). Mostly. It was still pretty annoying, especially combined with road work virtually everywhere; fixing potholes, water mains, smoothing new cement sidewalks... it didn't end.
What is special about today that makes it so crazy?
