Too true. Last night was residency graduation, and Karin wasn't in bed till 10 or so. Then again, she was up at 6:30, as usual. Who'da thunk she actually went back to sleep after J told her to... And as it turned out, A didn't really go to sleep till 3 am. Prob because he's still getting used to relatively big med increase (as in, from 15 to 25 mg). But yes, I did enjoy it.
...now that I'm a mom of a four-year-old and a three-year-old. It'll be years before we can sleep past about 7. Yesterday morning, Peter and I made our bed together--that is, we woke together before the kids were up and set our room to rights and had a conversation. We realized we have missed this time since bringing the kids home 6+ months ago. Usually, one of tries to grab extra sleep while the other is "on duty."
