As I was responding to a friend's post, offering books for give-away:

Books! Uh... books. We're trying to get rid of books too, so probably shouldn't try to take in more. But getting rid of them means cataloging them all first*, which means setting up Delicious Library, which means getting the new MacBook working properly, which means fixing the networking problems, which means tweaking OS X and OS/2 and the SMC radio Ethernet router, and re-installing the Linux server with whatever freshest Fedora. Sigh. Why does everything cascade?


* Why, you ask? Well, because of J's OCD we need to be able to run our catalog against the one from the Public Library 3 blocks down the street. Obviously. :) ("Before we discard one single book", J mumbles, punctuating his words with fist on table)
