miekec | Dear Diary

Somehow I feel like I have to add an entry to this "diary". I used to keep a diary, and remember writing in it almost every week, if not daily. Then again, when I sit down now to actually write, nothing really jumps out. Sure, lots of stuff happens. In fact, too much stuss, too many acute problems, disasters and otherwise insane things happen on an almost daily basis. But a lot of it is so boooooring.

I mean, sure, at the time it happens it's really important to clear out the kitchen to get rid of the mealworm infestation. While at the same time dealing with the contractor who's telling you about the digging they have to do in your yard to get to the house nextdoor because there's a leak in the basement. While pluging the sink that's clogged again. After we just dealt with the washer that wouldn't spin. While still keeping an eye open for that second (live) mouse that the cats brought in again; must catch it, and add it to the mousecage where the other mouse still is (the one we caught yesterday). Would release both mice when it stopped raining, far away from our cats, in the park.
Days (and weeks) go by in a whirlwind that way, and all of a sudden I realize that my last entry is a while back, and nothing specific to 'blog about. Hm.
