miekecTask: keep a 3-yr old occupied while waiting for transport (bus, train,...)
Time limit: 20-40 minutes
Obstacles and limitations:
- no (permanent) damage allowed.
- no toys (objects specifically designed as such) available
- subject to the whims of the weather
- lots of traffic nearby
- must stay in very narrowly defined, usually urban area
- can not subject innocent bystanders to high volume or splattering
- can use (un)commonly found objects from backpack to aid with entertainment. Caveats: magnetic access cards tend to no longer work after snapped in half; fountain pens are messy; wallets contain many small and lose-able, yet important, cards
- must be ready at any time to pack up and board said transport
- remember that if soaked or frostbitten, subject still needs to last the rest of the trip
- can not leave subject out of sight
