I want to hibernate...

I want to hibernate for the next 4 years. Am still in a partial daze/denial about the elections. It just SO blows my mind. Yes, I knew it was supposedly going to be a close race, but it just hadn't occurred to me that anyone would actually vote for that moron.
At times like this, I really resent that we can't move away from Boston until Alex is 18. basically for another 7 years. The Netherlands is not ideal, but a hell of a lot better than living here.

When her tante ("aunt") Michelle put Karin down for her nap today, she didn't want to go to sleep at first.
She started calling:
"TANTE! Tante? Mama? Papa? Matt? Tey?" ^*
She went through the cycle a few times, before finally deciding her ploy wasn't going to work, and went to sleep.

Heh.
