miekecSo, after getting her first set of stitches out 2 days ago (a separate post, in progress), I get a call from the school nurse.
K ran head-first into a pole at school.
Bump on face, gash on bump.
Nurse can't quite see how deep the gash is, because, of course, it is right on the bump.
Long story short: J is taking K to see her doctor now, to go get 2 stitches. Sigh.
ETA: Figures. Doc didn't have any suturing supplies. The office she's in was supposed to be temporary, and most of her supplies are in storage. None of the other docs in the building had any either. So, off to St. E's hospital. They're in the ED now, on a supposed "fast track". Grmbl.
