Weasley with broken paw

miekecAs John wrote here, our poor cat Weasley dislocated his left rear ankle (and as we found out yesterday, also broke something in the leg in the process). We went for a visit yesterday, and he was just out of surgery. He was doped to the gills, and had a severe case of the munchies. At least it's a good sign that he snarfed his food :)

Today, he's getting picked up, and then he has to be careful for 6-8 weeks. Right. Our active, bouncy cat is not allowed to jump, even onto the couch. Our tools (so far) are a kitty-harness to let him walk without running away, and a big cage to put him in when we're not there. Any other suggestions for occupation therapy and/or tools are welcome, nay, invited. For both the feline and human nuts involved.
