Wooooooohoooooo!!! It's dry! I can see the sun!! And we were able to ride our bike to work/daycare today. It was a bit surreal to ride on the bikepath that had been submerged just a few days before. (Have a look at the very very very wet and slightly less wet pictures.)

they kept showing pictures of random places in massachusetts, and i didn't realize that boston was in the same boat until my friend at BU was telling me how much it rained there recently.

(sigh) Dry again today. 99 F. Light intermittent breeze. Bright blue blue blue sky. Think I'll have another glass of ice water while I listen to the lecture panel speak. Then, after lunch, perhaps I'll blow off the poster session and have a dip in the hot tub. No, wait, I'll sit under an umbrella and have a margarita.... yeah, that's the ticket. I hate having to go to Phoenix for conferences....

psh. you had a few days of rain. massachusetts is still lovely.
try spending months at a time in rochester.
you'll be so f'ing bored you won't care what the weather is like.
