+ Sleep! Yay sleep. Got 8+ hours last night
- One of my ribs is on strike. Don't know what I did to annoy it, but breathing hurts.
+ England rugby flag prominently displayed (literally, said "Rugby" on it!). Must find place to see rugby world cup finals this weekend. In between 3 or 4 other obligations around the same time. Sigh.
- Weasley is starting to get the crazies. It's been 6 weeks, and I think he's had it with being locked up. Yesterday he was chasing Tijgetje around until we gave him some sedative and put him back in his cage to stop him from hurting himself.
+ If all is well, they'll remove some or all pins from his leg Thursday
+ Karin hasn't bitten anyone lately. This is a good thing.
+ She actually listened to the MOTD today. Yes, they have what they call a morning message at school. She frequently doesn't want to listen to is and puts her fingers in her ears very demonstratively. As best I can guess it's an obvious but non-invasive way for her to say that she doesn't agree to this whole school thing.
- Only got a small section of rotted clapboards done.
+ Got a section of rotted clapboards done.
- Noticed that the new clapboards are much thinner at the base than the old ones. And of course that leaves a gap at the abutting corner post of the house. Argh. Silicone caulk for now, fix next year when we fix that corner (is also partly rotted)
+ good coincidence (and dryish weather!) should allow us to work on it thu and fri afternoons together
