Question:
What do the United States, Lesotho, Liberia, Swaziland, and Papua New Guinea have in common?

Answer:
They were the only countries out of 173 studied that didn't guarantee any paid leave for mothers. Among the 168 countries that do, 98 offer 14 or more weeks of paid leave.

I keep forgetting to post this - I'm trying to keep up putting pictures on Flickr. It's a temptingly easy interface, and while our machine at home is still down... Sigh. Too much to do, and too little time. We need about 6 months of to get through the backlog at this point.

Anyway, link to pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/29551441@N00/tags/
